Seasons of Dissapointment

We know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called
according to His purpose. ROMANS 8:28
I have always really loved this scripture verse  and this is what came up on my daily devotional today. I think the reason I like it is that it reminds me to never get too dissapointed or discouraged, that God has a plan and things will ultimately work out in the end for those who follow him. I've always believed this fully and it's given me such peace.

Lately, there have been so many people getting married. Along with myself only 7 monthes ago. In marriage there is always going to be dissapointment. When you are with someone, and so close to someone, they are always always going to dissapoint you in some way. Why?? Well, because that is how it is. We are not perfect, no one is.. and we are bound to dissapoint our partner , our friends, our families in some ways every now and then.

Now, I am not saying that you should just expect dissapointment and that's it...and this that I'm writing is just a big downer. No. I'm saying that, we just need to know how to communicate better to let each other know and handle dissapointment...especially in marriages. And, that we can cling to what scripture says in that....God causes all things to work together for good for those who love him.

I think animals are God's gifts to us because we don't have very high expectations of them...so whatever they do we just love. Right now, Bear is curled up on my lap with one paw up on my chest just like a baby.. he's purring loudly and got the sweetest look on his face.
