Blowdryer

I get My Salon Blowout from the Titan UV!

Hey Guys! I have never gone to the salon just to get a blowout.  But, I feel like I get a salon-like blowdry with a new blowdryer called the Titan UV. The Titan UV is by Le Angelique. You may remember a while back I posted about some fabulous extensions I had gotten from Le Angelique!

Have you guys heard of a hairdryer that blows out a spa scent as you blowdry?? This new blowdryer I've been using does just that!!!! It has a scent that shoots out as you blowdry your hair. Crazy, huh!

But, it doesn't stop there. Some of the other features of this blowdryer are:

  • blue light UV technology that  stimulates the scalp and helps to repair the hair keeping it healthy! AMAZING!
  •

  • 2000 watts
  • 2 heat settings
  • 2 speed settings
  • 2 separate nozzles
  • long durable salon cord
  • cool burst setting for sealing the hair cuticle

I love the way my hair feels and looks after using this blowdryer. I feel just like I stepped out of the salon.

The best part about the Titan UV is the fabulous technology of the UV blue light. Often times my hair and scalp feel very dry after I blowdry or heat style. But, after using this for two weeks I have already noticed a difference. My hair and scalp feel healthier and not as brittle and dry!

Conclusion: This is the most technically advanced hairdryer I have ever used and I'm absolutely loving it right now! It makes me feel like a million bucks! The calming scent that comes out of the dryer as you dry your hair is beyond luxurious! The only thing I do not like about this hair dryer in comparison to others I have used is it is heavier than some.

This retails for $250 and you can go to http://www.leangelique.com/titan-uv.html to check it out!

So tell me...what is your favorite hair tool? Do you have a hairdryer you love?

3 Hair Discoveries that help dry hair remain silky

Hey friends, It's February 1st and this is my favorite month of the year. I absolutely loveee february. It's a fun month. My birthday is the 17th ;) and Valentines Day is the 14th. It's a short month that flies by and is full of hearts. <3

Plus, this February we are going to Kenya. So, it will be very exciting! My biggest beauty issue right now is fighting my frizzy dried out hair, and trying to maintain its silkiness. I live in one of the coldest places in the country...Minnesota. This winter has been so cold, so snowy and very unpredictable. So, I've had to find a good hair routine to help keep my hair looking somewhat healthy.

Here are 4 products I have not been able to live without.

1. MoroccanOil. The original moroccanoil treatment is something I have been using a lot of. I apply this throughout my hair when it is damp. It helps repair split ends, cuts drying time, strengthens and conditions my hair. My hair always looks and feels healthier after I use this! http://www.moroccanoil.com/

2. T3 Featherweight luxe professional hair dryer. This hair dryer is unlike any I have ever had. It is fast, fights frizz, keeps my hair shiny and is super lightweight. It uses ceramic and ionic technology and my hair looks less dry after using this blow dryer vs. any other kind I have tried. http://www.t3micro.com/

 3. GHD classic straightener. GHD makes the best straightener I have used to date. It gets so hot and makes your hair super straight in seconds. It heats up in less than 30 seconds also! http://www.ghdhair.com/

That's all for today. Don't forget to subscribe if you want to follow me while we visit Nairobi, Kenya for 2 weeks! It should be an adventure!! :) And, there will be plenty of pictures and stories.

Alien Technology or the T3 ManeTamer ???

Hey Everyone! It is stormy, rainy and windy outside so I may have a problem getting this post up because the power keeps going out! But, I'll try my  best to get through it because I want to tell you all about T3!!

Let me preface this by saying: I have never tried a hair dryer or straightener that cost more than $40. All of my previous hair tools have been purchased from Target or a similar store.

But, all of that has changed now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hallelujah! I have been introduced to the world of T3. Take a look at the website here: http://www.t3micro.com/

I have been using the MANETAMER straightening Iron and the FEATHERWEIGHT LUXE Hairdryer. Let me show you some pictures...

The first thing my husband said when he saw this in the bathroom was , "do you have some kind of alien technology in there?" He must have compared to my other hair straightener this one not only looks high-tech, but just prettier and sleeker in general.  I also think that the gemstones down the side make it look even more beautiful!

This IS the best hair straightener I've used. You can use it while your hair is wet or dry. The MANETAMER is made for unruly hair , so if your hair is curly, wavy or frizzy, this will help make it smooth and straight. It heats up fast and uses tourmaline and ionic technology. In my opinion, it can't get much better. Also, it has a very long cord which is great if you work in a salon or just want the extra convenience.

This hair dryer is quiet, dries my hair fast. It is frizz-fighting, hair-protecting with its ionic and ceramic technologies.

I can tell that this hair dryer is different from any other I've used because it does not leave my hair dry and frizzy. My hair is looking more silky, and healthy.

Before I make this post super long, I am going to stop there. But, if you are looking for one of the best hair dryer's and straightener's out there on the market today, definitely look into T3.

Here is their website link again: http://www.t3micro.com/

I LOVE these 2 products...and gave away my old dryer and straightener already!

Infomercials and the InStyler...

Hey Everyone! My typing is going to be purple today to celebrate the Minnesota Vikings Victory!!

Do you ever get sucked in my infomercials? Well, the ones that really "get-to-me" are the beauty ones. If I see a beauty product infomercial, my ears perk up and I have to see what the latest and greatest is.

I remember seeing the InStyler one time and wanting to try it...well, I now have my hands on it!!! I've been using it for the past few weeks and I have the scoop about this beauty tool  for all of you!!

Here are some photos of my

Instyler:

I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and here are the main things I want to point out.

  • It straightens and curls really fast. What I'd like to point out about this is that the InStyler is a great product for a girl on the go who has little time to fuss with her hair. It straightens and curls in one and is speedy.
  • It's for gentle bouncy curls and slight flipping not tight curls. The Instyler is great at flipping ends of hair and creating slight curls. It's not however for the woman who wants tight bouncy Taylor swift curls.
  • It straightens without feeling like it's scorching. Sometimes, I feel like putting my hair between to sheets of metal is really ruining it. But , because the hot metal iron is rotating it feels gentler than a flat iron. But-it also doesn't flatten quite like a flat-iron.
  • It makes hair look really shiny. I think my hair looked shinier after using this because It is gentle and it brushes your hair while it heats. So, I like that you don't have to use a brush and hair dryer, you can use this while your hair is slightly damp and create the same effect.

My Conclusion: I like to use this when I let my hair air dry and I have slight waves that I want to iron/brush out. It's a great lazy day tool or a perfect one to bring with me if I can only fit one tool with me on a trip. It DOES straighten my hair but not like my straightener. I would not use this in the place of my flat-iron, but I would use it if I want my hair slightly straighter or curled on the ends. I also like that I can create gentle curls with this.

Check out the website to watch videos of the InStyler: http://www.getinstyler.com/

Gotta mention some favorites... (September)

September FLEW by!  It's already October 5th and I have some beauty items to share with all of you! Here are some of the things I've been loving over the past month...

MAC Longwear Lipcreme in Till Tomorrow:

The color is amazing and looks great on! It's a great mauvy/purplish color but looks a little different on everyone's skin tone. I like it because it gives my lips just enough color without looking overdone. Plus-it stays on for a really long time.  You can find this at www.maccosmetics.com

The T3: Featherweight Luxe Hair Dryer & The ManeTamer Hair Straightener

These two products from T3 are so fabulous that when I got them  I gave my old hair dryer and straightener away! They are sleek, stylish, and work better than any hair dryer or straightener I have ever owned.  I will have a full review on them in the upcoming weeks , but they are favorites for September because they are new and I've been using them non-stop. You can find them at: http://www.t3micro.com/

Bath and Body Works Dark Kiss Eau De Toilette.

I am usually not crazy about Bath and Body Work Products but, I was sent the DARK KISS scent which  is new  for Fall. It is so sweet and sugary smelling and I LOVE it. It reminds me of Aquolina's pink sugar. You can find this at www.bathandbodyworks.com

GoldWell DualSenses Rich Repair 60 Sec. Treatment.

This rich repair conditioner is just what my hair has been needing. I got this a few months ago and it is already gone! I used it so much because the ends of my hair were so dry. This leaves your hair feeling really silky and soft in as little as 60 seconds. Here is the Goldwell website for more information : http://www.goldwell-northamerica.com/site/

CND's Desert Suade nail polish.

I love this color this fall. It's so pretty and natural on my nails. Here is the CND website where you can find this nail polish amongst many other colors: http://www.cnd.com/Products/Color/Default.aspx

That's all for this month. There are so many things I like but these are things I'm really using a lot and LOVING.

Disclaimer: Some of these products were sent to me on a review consideration basis and some I bought. I was not paid for this blog and these are all my honest opinions!
