Hair iron

Cool Care for your Hot Tools

Hi Everyone! If you’re like me, you have quite a few different hair styling products. Maybe a curling iron, flat iron, blow dryer, etc. And, there is not really a “cute” way to store these besides setting them on your bathroom counter and creating a mess of cords. I found this holder, “Cool Care”, by AmericanBeauty and it is the perfect way to organize, and protect myself from the heat of these tools.

I love that this holder comes in two styles, one for your bathroom counter top or one that you can mount in the wall. These can fit most hairdryers, curling irons, and hair straighteners.

The names of the game here are convenience, safety, and functionality. These are not cute, or “pretty” but they have made my bathroom counter top look a whole lot more organized, and made reaching for my blowdryer and straightener a lot easier. I never again have to worry about the heat from the tools melting something on my counter top.

You can look at all these products at:  I really enjoy sharing with all of you my “beauty finds” and I’m dying to know what you’ve found lately!?

Let me know!

LOVE, Lauren

Styles with Curl for Valentine's Day- Sultra Bombshell

Hey Guys! It's 2* Fahrenheit here and it's around 80* in Kenya... I can't seem to get warm here, so I can't wait to be there!  I was playing around with my curling iron the other day and really love the look of wavy curly hair right now. I think soft curls are very romantic for the month of February.

The curling iron I used is the Sultra Bombshell. It is a single rod curling iron, 1", and does not has a clamp , so you get very even bouncy curls or you can create soft wave like curls.

Here are 3 styles I LOVE this month and you can create these with the Sultra bombshell curling iron! :) These would be great hair styles for a valentines day in or night out!

Olivia Wilde with Soft curls. Curl your hair and clip on side back with bobby pins. Leave the other side out and spritz on shine spray to make your hair look extra shiny and glamourous.

Love this slightly curly side swept braid!! Put lightly wavy hair in a side braid. Leave out sections around your face and curl slightly. :)

Curl your hair and pull it back into a low side messy bun. Make sure you leave out pieces around your face making it look a little messy. Curl small pieces around your face if you want.

Hope you enjoyed seeing these three styles I LOVE for curly hair. If you'd like to see the curling iron I used, here is the Sultra Website again,

Best of Beauty for November: Sigmax Brush Line & Sultra "Bombshell"

Hey Beautiful Readers, I hope you are all having a wonderful week. I have so many "best of" products from November that I feel like I must break up my posts a little bit in order to share everything with all of you.

Here's my plan; I am going to be doing a couple, "Best of Beauty for November" blogs this week. Each will include 2 or 3 things that I have been using all the time, recently discovered or just really loving from the month of November. So each post will be reviews on a couple of amazing products! Also, these are all going to be things that I think would make GREAT CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY  gifts or stocking stuffers! Let's get started.....

If you don't know already, I am a HUGE fan of SIGMA. Sigma is a beauty brand based out of Minneapolis that has an AMAZING line of brushes at affordable prices. They also have various cosmetic bags, mirrors and other little things. Naturally,  since they are based on of Minneapolis, I LOVE them. And, I want to keep you guys all updated on their fabulous products and recent launches.

Recently they came out with  SigMAX brushes. They were designed to give a flawless buffing effect which results in a High Definition makeup look. There are 3 of these brushes. A flat top , rounded top and slanted top. These brushes are quality, quality, quality. They are so tightly packed, and cashmere SOFT. The other amazing thing is that you can get all 3 off these brushes together for $42!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These are seriously an amazing deal for quality brushes.

I've been using these brushes almost everyday. The flat top brush is wonderful for buffing in liquid foundation! If you are looking for a  gift for the "girl who already has it all", I'm sure she'd love these brushes. You can never have enough makeup brushes. Right???

And, you can't beat $42 for the three brushes you're getting here. For more information and to see these brushes closer up go to :

Another tool I love that would make wonderful holiday gift is the Sultra "Bombshell". The Bombshell is a 1" curling iron. You can create waves or curls you want with NO crease lines because this has no regular curling iron clamp. It consists of a smooth rod barrel that uses ceramic technology. A heat resistant pad for your counter top and safety gloves are included with the bombshell. Take a look at the Sultra website:

The "Bombshell" curling Iron was featured in the November 2010 Instyle Magazine that had Rachel McAdams on the cover!

Stay tuned in for tomorrow's post I have to talk about a moisturizer I love, and some hair extensions!

Any questions about these products I showed today or anything else, leave in the comment section below!

FTC Man: These are 100 % honest reviews. I was sent these products on a try for possible review basis but I am not being paid.

Thanks for reading guys!!

Alien Technology or the T3 ManeTamer ???

Hey Everyone! It is stormy, rainy and windy outside so I may have a problem getting this post up because the power keeps going out! But, I'll try my  best to get through it because I want to tell you all about T3!!

Let me preface this by saying: I have never tried a hair dryer or straightener that cost more than $40. All of my previous hair tools have been purchased from Target or a similar store.

But, all of that has changed now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hallelujah! I have been introduced to the world of T3. Take a look at the website here:

I have been using the MANETAMER straightening Iron and the FEATHERWEIGHT LUXE Hairdryer. Let me show you some pictures...

The first thing my husband said when he saw this in the bathroom was , "do you have some kind of alien technology in there?" He must have compared to my other hair straightener this one not only looks high-tech, but just prettier and sleeker in general.  I also think that the gemstones down the side make it look even more beautiful!

This IS the best hair straightener I've used. You can use it while your hair is wet or dry. The MANETAMER is made for unruly hair , so if your hair is curly, wavy or frizzy, this will help make it smooth and straight. It heats up fast and uses tourmaline and ionic technology. In my opinion, it can't get much better. Also, it has a very long cord which is great if you work in a salon or just want the extra convenience.

This hair dryer is quiet, dries my hair fast. It is frizz-fighting, hair-protecting with its ionic and ceramic technologies.

I can tell that this hair dryer is different from any other I've used because it does not leave my hair dry and frizzy. My hair is looking more silky, and healthy.

Before I make this post super long, I am going to stop there. But, if you are looking for one of the best hair dryer's and straightener's out there on the market today, definitely look into T3.

Here is their website link again:

I LOVE these 2 products...and gave away my old dryer and straightener already!

Disclaimer: I received these products for a possible review. These are my honest thoughts and I was not paid for this review.
