Hi!! I’ve been recently trying a new nail product. They are nail stickers that come in different designs and styles, and give you an instant manicured look without waiting for drying time. Nail Dress by Kiss are fun to spice up your typical nail polish routine.
These are SO easy. They come in a few different sizes, you choose the ones that work best for your nails…peel and stick. One trick is to use acetone or nail polish remover on your nail right before you place the sticker. It helps it stick better!
After you apply the sticker, you simply file it down to fit your nail. Mine have stayed on a good 3-4 days. They say they can last up to 10…but I’d say plan on a good 3 days that you can go without having to change your nail polish or design. They will start to peel at the edge of the nail..
I have tried the Sally Hansen Salon Effects, and I really prefer these Kiss Nail Dress to them. They seem a bit stickier and longer lasting.
I received these to try from the LOVE VOXBOX that www.Influenster.com sent me to review and give an honest opinion. If you want to become an Influenster and see if you can try anything to review go to their website! Anyone can sign up. Once you sign up you start unlocking badges by taking surveys. Hey Guys! I’ve been really into trying different trends and ideas for my nails. My last post was about the KISS nail dress stickers that come in different designs.
Recently , I learned about CND (Creative Nail Design)’s Color and Effects. They have many different nail polish colors along with many different over lay polishes that change the way your polish looks. I chose to do the colors:
Raspberry Parfait Color with Ice Blue Shimmer Effects polish over top which changes the pink polish to look a little more purplish when the light hits. I also spiced up my nails by painting the ring finger with Poppyfield from CND.
I think it’s fun to change up nail styles, because there’s a million fun things to do with your nails.
Have you heard of Biotin?? We all have this in our bodies but some of us have deficiencies of biotin so taking an extra supplement can have multiple benefits. One being nail growth and strength. Biotin is good for your hair skin and nails so if you notice you have thin splitting nails, this may help give them more strength and help them grow faster!
I started taking some biotin supplements about 2 weeks ago and have already noticed a difference in my nails feeling stronger, and growing more quickly.

Hey Guys, Make-up and lashes I get, but nail’s have always been difficult for me!!!
Especially finding a good nail polish that really lasts on my nails. I have ranted about having a difficult time finding long wearing nail polish before. It seems as if I’ve tried every nail polish brand out there…drugstore and high end. But, believe it or not I have found one that is super cheap and absolutely does the job for me!
The Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro Nail Laquer is amazing nail polish!!! I randomly picked up the wild orchid shade when I saw it and loved the color. I realized it lasted on my nails 4 good days and I definitely could have left it on longer, but when I get one or two chips in it, I always feel the need to remove it all and start again. These retail between $3-5 depending on the store and location
I went out and got 2 other colors just to make sure it was not just a fluke that this nail polish had lasted so long on my nails…(4 days with no chips at all is REALLY amazing for me). I got the French Rose color which is just a french manicure soft pink color and the posh pink. I tried both and they wore exactly the same! These are long wearing, have a super glossy finish and come in a really chic pretty bottle. They’re inexpensive too!!
I can’t say enough good things about this nail polish. It is my new favorite! There are not a ton of colors to choose from , but hopefully they will make more soon.
What do you think of the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro Nail Polish ? Have you tried one yet? For $4 it’s definitely worth at least checking out once if you too are frustrated with your nails!

**This was not sponsored and I was not paid for this review. I paid for these products myself and all opinions are my own.
Hi Guys, I wanted to share my nail polish color of the moment. It is Wild Orchid by Rimmel London, Lasting Finish PRO. This is my first time trying any of the nail polish by Rimmel London. So, I wanted to see how they work!
These nail polishes cost around $2.97. :) This color caught my eye...and the fact that it said, "up to 10 days" on it. Hopefully it will last a few days longer than some other polishes I've tried.
I also really loved the polish bottle and brush on this. It is a thicker brush which I feel makes the nail polish go on quicker and less streaky.
I guess we will see how it goes! There were a few other colors from this collection that looked really pretty. So if I like it , I may have to go back and get more. :) Here is the website where you can check them out: http://www.rimmellondon.com/us/en/products/lasting-finish-pro-nail-lacquer/#This is another one of the colors I really wanted to try! It's like a greyish taupe.
Has anyone used this polish before? What do you think of it??
Have a great night!

Hi Beautiful Friends ! I appreciate all of your subscriptions and entries in my latest giveaway for Breda Watches! I will draw a winner in about a week and I'm very excited for one of you to win. Here is the link if you have not yet entered! http://lovelo.wordpress.com/2011/06/13/trendy-affordable-breda-watch-giveaway/
I want to share with you guys some of my great finds for keeping your nails and hands looking more beautiful. These discoveries will most likely be in my collection for a long time.
Garden Botanika Skin Renewing Hand Treatment with AHA complex. This is a silky smooth hand lotion that really helps "repair" my dry hands. I actually keep this in my car to use every time I'm driving or going to and from work. I do this because then I know I will use it and I'm adding moisture to my hands and nails. This hand treatment has a very sweet citrus scent and leaves my hands feeling soft! I also use this to rub into my cuticles for healthier nails!
Orly PolishSheild and Orly Flash Dry. Both of these contribute to shiny longer lasting polish! The Polish shield is a 3 in 1 topcoat that helps protect, prevent chipping, and add shine to polish. It is a quick drying formula and helps with color fading.
The orly flash dry comes in a dropper bottle. This product helps accelerate recently polished nails. You just apply one or two drops over your polished nails to help it dry faster and keep the color locked in. This REALLY works. It speeds up drying time!!
I also picked up a nail color, that may not be so "summer-ish" but it's a beautiful color. It's OPI's Jade is the new black. I LOVE this color.
Have a great night everyone!
Hey Guys! So, recently I've been trying out SEVERAL different brands of nail polish from Target to see which Target brand lasts the longest, doesn't chip as fast and has a great selection of colors. Now, this does not include the Essie polish, or Nicole by OPI or any of those higher end nail polish brands they now sell at Target. This is exclusively those under $4.99.
My winner hands down has been Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear. I love the applicator, the colors it comes in, and it definitely wears the longest. It is also a very high shine polish, and is pretty opaque. I never felt like I needed more than 1 or 2 coats, from the colors that I chose, (I've tried about 5 different shades). They come in many colors and retail for $2.99. That is a great price compared to most nail polish brands out there!
The other day when I was at Target I needed a nail file...I didn't want to spend very much and I found this pack of 3 polka dotted files for $.99! :) Then, I got home and tried to take a photo and this is what happened...
Hi Guys! What is your favorite lip and nail color this season?? Do you have one shade that never fails you?
I don't know what it is..but I am loving HOT PINK. Hot pink for lips and hot pink for nails! Maybe it's all of the ad's with bold bright lips for summer or the fact that I'm so ready for loud color this season. :)
I wanted to show you all some inspirational photos
Hey Friends! Today was an absolutely beautiful spring day in Minneapolis. I am feeling so good now that the weather is starting to warm up and the sun is starting to stay out longer. I did a little shopping today...nothing huge but I picked up a few items for myself that are all beauty and jewelry! It's so fun to shop and pick up some "fun" items; I believe that we all need that every once in a while. Even if that just means treating yourself to your favorite drink at Starbucks!
Let's start with MAC cosmetics. I picked up some cleanse off oil. You can see that on the left here. Cleanse off oil is absolutely amazing at removing all makeup no matter how much you have applied. I use this as my facial cleanser at night. About 2 pumps is all you need and it keeps my dry skin hydrated and I never feel too oily. It washes off nicely.
I picked up the light pink nailpolish on the left called "Ice cream cake". Cute name huh!? This comes out with the "Quite Cute" collection on Thursday April 7. :)
The final 2 things I picked up from MAC are lip pencils in In Sync (a very light baby pink) and Magenta ( A hot fuchia pink). I picked up these two because I thought they'd be a great addition to my collection for spring lip colors!
You all probably know by now...I love Target. I could spend so much money in that place. It get's a little dangerous! Here's what I picked up today :
2 pairs of adorable earrings. I love anything that has hearts. These gold drop earrings with hearts are just so pretty and will go with almost any color outfit! The other pair is silver drop teardrop shaped earrings with turquoise center stones. I love these! I love the color and am very excited to wear them.
The next thing I picked up from Target is an Elf Lip Gloss in the scent and color watermelon. This was $1 !!!!!! You can not beat $1. When I opened the packaging this gloss was in I could already smell the delicious sweet smell of watermelon. It's also just a fun pink for spring!
Last, I picked up two new nail polish colors that I thought would be nice for spring . Both of these were under $2. One is the color Mint sorbet from the Sally Hansen Hard as nails Xtreme wear color collection . The other is the color Dream on from Sinful Colors Professional. This bright purple is great for toes!
There's my fun little shopping spree on display for you guys. Maybe this will give you ideas, or just be an interesting read. Either way, it was fun and I wanted to share it with all of you!!
xoxo, Love LO
Hey Everyone! Thanksgiving is just 2 days away... the holiday's have almost begun! It is very exciting, isn't it?
I have a special treat for all of you today. I am going to be talking about a nail growth product that I have been using for my nails and the company has allowed me to give one away to one of you!! YAY! So, if you want in, stay tuned for the details. :)
A product called "Go Nails" was sent to me to try out for a minimum of 10 days. It is a nail growth cream that you rub on your cuticle. I have to say I was very pessimistic at first because I have PROBLEM nails. My nails are always peeling and short because I constantly put nail polish on them and use remover to take off my polish. They never feel very hard and I've always felt like I can't wear my nails natural because they look bad.
But, Go Nails lives up to what it says. It helped:
- Repair my damaged nails,
- Harden my nails &
- Made them grow fast!
It comes in this very easy to pump bottle and all you do is pump a small amount onto a nail and rub it into all of your cuticles. Rubbing this formula into the cuticle also helps stimulate nail growth. Here are some more photos and you can see my nails growing long and white. These photos were only after using the product for about 8 days. I started seeing results in about 5 days!!!!
My nails were significantly whiter, harder and longer in only a couple of days. I like this product because it's so easy to use. You simply rub the cream into the cuticle and your done. I have tried other nails strengthening products and polishes that are supposed to harden your nails but none of them got me as good or as fast results as this has for my nails. ** You can also use this on your toes.
The two new ingredients that are in this product that help nails and cuticle are:
Thymulen 4: Stimulates the synthesis of keratins to enhance skin barrier function and improve the structure of the nail plate.Arginine Aminobenzoate which is a patented DNA simulator which promotes damage repair
It also contains:
Cell-nourishing keratin protein to strengthen and thicken
Biotin which helps thickens, strengthen, and harden nails
Jojoba oil and vitamin E which help condition your nail and cuticle
Collagen which helps regenerate nails to become harder
You are getting a little multi-vitamin in a bottle for your nail health. This bottle retails for $25 and can be found on their website at :http://www.mygobeauty.com/
Here's how you can win a bottle of your own!!!! Go Nails is being so kind as to sending a bottle of this out to try to one of my subscribers!
